ESGR in the News

WIXOM, Mich - On 18 November, Joel Geary, Learning and Development Manager at United States Infrastructure Corporation (USIC) and a veteran himself, was presented with the ESGR Patriot Award.

Mr. Geary was nominated by Specialist Dustin Rickaby of the Army National Guard. Specialist Rickaby said, “Joel has routinely supported my military career. He has had no problems finding a way to keep the team running when I have gotten called away with short notice. When I am on military time he never emails, calls or texts, allowing me to focus on my job. When I get back from extended orders, he will often force me to take some extra time at home rather than coming back to work when I would be more than willing to. We often talk together about our time in the military, and he often gives me advice and personal experiences of his own when he was in, helping me continue my drive and assisting me in striving to be great both at work and drill.”

USIC also has a statement on the side of their trucks which shows their support of hiring military service members - “Proud to Hire America’s Heroes”.

Thank you to Joel Geary and USIC for supporting our service members. Presenting the award is ESGR Volunteer Fred Kaiser.
