ANN ARBOR, Mich - Congratulations to Solomon Zheng, LEA Director of Technology for Washtenaw Intermediate School District for receiving the ESGR Patriot Award. Mr. Zheng was nominated by Capt. Daniel Sackmann of the Army National Guard.
Sackmann stated, "Solomon has continually gone above and beyond supporting me with my military training and obligations. He never complains or gives me any sort of grief or problems when I have last second military requirements and duties to attend to. While deployed, he has checked in on me on several occasions to ensure I'm doing okay. On top of that, he and the entire technology team have written several cards not only to myself, but also my wife as well just to cheer her up."
