RALEIGH, N.C. – The director of the SAS Governance, Risk & Compliance legal department was recognized for their support to U.S. Army Reserve Chief Warrant Officer 2 and SAS Audit Security Advisor, Scott Dayton May 8 at the SAS campus in Cary.
Area Chairman for the North Carolina Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Ken Oppenheim presented Dayton’s manager, Jennifer Reginelli, with the Patriot Award for her unwavering support before, during and after Dayton’s recent deployment.
“The Patriot Award was created by ESGR to publicly recognize individuals and organizations that provide outstanding support and cooperation to their employees who have answered the call to serve in the National Guard or Reserves,” said Oppenheim.
“National Guard and Reserve members bring tremendous skills and capabilities to our workforce, and employer support for their military service is critical to maintaining the strength of our Guard and Reserve units,” said Ed Hamilton, Southeast Region National Board of Directors and the state chair for North Carolina ESGR, “By valuing the military service of their Guard and Reserve employees, employers are directly supporting the readiness a of our All-Volunteer Force, and our national defense.”
