LEXINGTON, Mich. – Heather Turner, Owner of Lexington Nutrition in Lexington was awarded the ESGR Patriot Award June 3.

"Heather deserves this award many times. She has stuck by our family during times of my husband activation and training events, said Lia Tunnel. She was not only flexible but very accommodating.  When our children got sick or childcare fell through without hesitation she took care of it. When I needed time off because of short notice of my husband active duty she totally stood by me. She supported us and made sure we were taken care of.  She has a heart of gold."

This is what Lia Tunnell, spouse of Spc. Michael Tunnell, Michigan Army National Guard assigned to 1-182nd FAR Light Guard Armory Detroit, had to say about Ms. Turner. During this presentation, Ms. Turner also signed the ESGR Statement of Support.
