ESGR in the News

18

MARQUETTE, Mich. – Central U.P. Commercial Banking manager for Nicolet National Bank Boris Martysz was presented with the ESGR Patriot Award Dec. 18. Martysz, who thought he was just visiting the branch for Christmas festivities, was very surprised to receive the award.

“We’re all about hiring the best people no matter who they are and Kyle Maki is an outstanding employee for us and for him to say those kind words and recognize me for just doing my job and you know, being a part of a great organization totally caught me by surprise, but very honored,” said Martysz.

Martysz was nominated by Army National Guard 2nd Lt. Kyle Maki.

“Boris is extremely supportive of everything I do in the Army National Guard. In addition, he creates a very positive work environment,” said Maki. “Boris isn't my direct supervisor as he isn't a credit analyst team lead. However, he is in charge of the region of commercial lending and we all work together. I was given the opportunity to go to U.S. Army Ranger School on short notice and Boris fully supported the training and gave words of encouragement and support.”

Thank you to Mr. Martysz for supporting our Service Members.
