CENTER LINE, Mich. – Director of Public Safety Paul Myszenski of the Center Line Department of Public Safety was presented with the ESGR Patriot Award Dec. 6.

Director Myszenski was nominated by Cpl. Noah Schlief of the Army National Guard. Schlief is a Public Safety Officer in Center Line. He stated, “The department as a whole has always been very supportive and understanding of the fact that when I am called, I have to go. Director Myszenski has assured me time and time again that my job is secure and that all he’s worried about is me coming back home to my family. The entire department as a whole is deserving of this award and in my opinion even higher recognition because not once has anyone given me a hard time about my military service.”
